#40284 - Watchdog on Atmel CC01 |
I am using the internal watchdog of the Atmel T89C51CC01 (Canary) which works very nicely and does the job required in my current project.
The problem I have is how do I know on powerup of the uC what condition caused the device to start i.e. power applied or watchdog reset? I cant find anywhere in the datasheet a register that contains a powerup status byte/bit. On other micros I have used there has been a status register that could be read to determine if a watchdog reset had previously occured. Has anybody come accros this or have an idea of detecting a watchdog reset? thanks Rob. |
