Erik:
Once again a brilliant example of why people should read their data sheets ! ! ! ! Even when somebody is not trying to find a specific item in a data sheet the data sheet should be read and re-read. I always read the sheets fully at least three times. There is the reading that occurs when I am doing initial part selection which has a sharp focus on functionality and suitability to the project at hand. Then at the time of drawing the schematics and making the hardware I read data sheets again with a close look at hardware type things like voltages, currents, loading, timing etc. And then at the time I set out to make the software routines that control the part or section of a processor I fully re-read the data sheet fully again. This time of course the focus is on the software aspects covered in the data sheet. Michael Karas |
