Note that if you want to put a link to file that people can download to their own computer such as some source code or a text file then you write a link such as this:

....as a side benefit the above is code for a queue supported interrupts for the UARTs on a dual UART 8052 derivative. Here is the link to the companion UART Header File that goes with the above for those that want to use this code in your project.

Note that it is not strictly necessary to put the files that you link to the forum posts onto the 8052.com user pages. They can be hosted on other web accessible storage spaces. However that being said...if you are posting information that you want to be a part on helpful hint or suggestion to other users of the 8052.com web site then it is probably to the best interest of all future users of the forum to post the appropriate files, be they graphiscs like .JPG or .GIF, or source codes like .TXT or .C or .ZIP that these files be placed on the 8052.com user page. This way the files are backed up regularly by our web master. It goes along with this then that if you create a user page to store forum post referenced files that you should never delete your user page. That is unless you do not desire to have your formum posts preserved into posterity for the next generation of 8052 users.
