See my previous post for some info.....

1) If you say say that a file is at www.8052.com/users/xxxx/xxxx then the file must be uploaded there.

2) You can reference files elsewhere. This is what is happening for example when some of us post links to data sheets. That is just a link to a .PDF file on some manufacturer web server.

3) If you have your own web site for example, hosted on some web server someplace such as your ISP then you can upload files there and reference them in here in the same way. Take this post I made a while back. I wanted to make available some code for interested parties but did not want to burden my 8052.com page with the storage of the code. So I instead used FTP to transfer the file to my own web site and then I wrote a link as:
