Dear Johanatan, I think there is a bit of confusion. The DDRAM is part of the LCD driver - thus when you "write" to the LCD, all that you do ( maybe without knowing it ) is to write to the DDRAM only. But before I can eloborate , I need to know the type of the LCD driver chip that you are using. Is it the Hitachi HD44780 type ?- this is one of the industry standards. And all my explanation WILL make sense for this type only. So please get back with specific info. Raghu |
