An additional comment.....If you are using the display with the "cursor" turned on and you are making an edit field display you may like to have the display field update work a slight but different as follows.
1) Position the current pointer to the start of the field 2) Output a sequence of spaces equal to the width of the field to blank the whole thing. 3) Re-Position the current pointer back to the start of the field. 4) Display the edit buffer contents to the LCD. This will leave the blinking display marker right at the end of the displayed field for you. I forgot this issue in the first post because I never ever use LCD modules with the cursor thing turned on. Please forgive my fast typing and spelling mistakes Michael Karas |
