THE man at micromouse is out of M.I.T. His MITey mouse is about the same size as a packet of cigarettes, so small he can cut the corners of the maze. He uses a floppy disk drive controller as his processor, because of the inbuilt motor controllers. Absolutely beautiful engineering...to the intense annoyance of the other teams who said it was cheating to come from MIT. I figure that he was only there because he could engineer this well.
Try robot table tennis instead. BTW which institution is SMU ? Steve |
