#41331 - Why not 8 Bit ADC? Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Since you seem to be looking to drive a linear amplifier, then a staright way is to convert the "bit information" that you are generating directly into DC with an 8 bit ADC ? You will get a resolution of 1 in 255. Why make a PWM and then convert back to DC? Well I am not sure whether you will be able to do it from hardware aspect. But if you can it is simple. ANd there are plenty of ADC's with MCU interface. Raghu |
