#41439 - RE: Programmer by Asim Khan Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Hi Erik,
Thanks for your info. Your postings made intertesting reading. I am in the occupation of designing microcontroller based products. Nowadays for my embedded designs the MSP430 range of chips are what I use. Well, coming back to our good old ATMEL 89C51 programmer, I was eager to make one of these 'modern' programmers which at least work with the faster computers we have today. I have a programmer based on ATMEL's design which works only on my X486 machine which I have still kept for just this programming. Some products need chips like the ATMEL 89C51 which are very cheap in my location and with a programmer which can go with my present PCs I guess it makes my life a lot easier. Regarding the 8255 I do no know how old you are but I first dealt with that chip in 1981. I will certainly not harass this august forum on that account Thanks a lot Best regards Prakash N.K |
