yes and i had recheck all the pin in & out , and now new thing happened, i had made a small change on my program send our a clock via p1.0 by timer 2 , and doing two type of test (without any other circuit connected)
1.keep the power on all the time , resend a reset signal by turn off the dc power of reset circuit only.
2. turn on /off the dc power by pull out/plug in the dc jack
all these two test came with the same answer
on the port 1.0 there's always a clock signal out

so. my new question -- will the timer keep running even the cpu latch up?
reason for the question is the uart port
stil not send out any data after test1 & 2.
