#42404 - RE: Power Down & Reset in a 8051 erase RAM Responding to: ???'s previous message |
According to Atmel 89C51 datasheets, "the only exit from power down is a hardware reset. Reset redefines the SFRs but does not change the onchip RAM".
My problem is that after the reset (from Power Down), the onchip RAM is lost, and program start again from the beginning. I guess I'm doing something wrong, but what? I´ve tried with several micros and different codes. What they are talking about is "power down mode" NOT turning power off. Erik |
