Hi,

I use a 89C52 to control a LCD which display a few short messages. They are connected via a 3-inch IDC ribbon. However, those messages would disappear after a short period of time (1-2 hours). The LCD is still operating as I can see the grey pixels.

Could anyone tell me what's wrong? Thank you very much
