Hi Michael,
The PC can not select the 9 bit mode. Maybe, you can use the 8 bit mode with parity. Then you must set the odd/even selection bit to transmit the 9.th bit depending from the data byte. And on receiving you must read the parity error bit. You need also software parity calculation to insert or extract the 9.th bit. Peter |
