Is it? If you're connecting two 8052's together, can't you just use a bit of wire? I thought the MAX232 were just required to up the voltage level to 10v for communication with PC's? True, if they are VERY close. The REAL reason for using RS232 instead of logic signals is to provide signal integrity over long lines. Erik |
