of course a resolution of 1µs can be achieved. Simple enter the idle mode on the starting egde and on the last edge of your input frequency. Then any edge interrupt need exact the same time to be served. And also the time which was needed to read the start time and to read the end time was exact the same and so fully compensated. Of course no other interrupt be allowed during this idle time. Peter |
