#43183 - bus buffer vs. bus switch |
I need to extend a number of inputs. I'm moving from shift registers (enormous number of cycles to transfer a byte) to addressable output registers. I think that I don't need any registers at inputs and implement them enabling 8 inputs to access data bus. This can be done with bus drivers/buffers/switches. Which component type should I use? Thanks. |
