The problem is now solved with the EOC interrupt method and also with a new chip in place.

I would have loved to test the previous "faulty" chip with the new code but my technician pulled it out, bent its legs and threw it somewhere. Crazy guy.

Anyway thanks for all the help and in particular to Jose.
