1. Yes, I was looking for alternatives.
2. I've found the answer on my question. Once a read operation is started it must be finished. Otherwise value of the register deos not updated, that is especially crusial for status register. Read operation can be finished by a. de-asserting nRD = 1 b. changing address c. (presumably) de-asserting nCS = 1 Writing to forum usually helps me to find a solution. It is a psychological problem. However, I would be more happy finding the answer in the docs. |
