I always work with Dallas or ST timekeepers
and the accuracy is according to the datasheet.
I used M48T12, M48T18, M48T86 ( ST part number) and DS12887A and DS1603.

The error you found is always the same?
Perhaps you can post your code so we can take a look to it.
