I was able to get my hands on a "bible". It says, "at the beginning of the stop bit." Just in case anyone wanted to know. So I need to wait at least one full bit time I think. Regarding the hardware. The guys that are making those decisions want it done as cheaply as possible, so other than termination resistors, I don't think we can sub any parts. But for testing, of course, we can do whatever. |
