Hi Dan,
I don't believe it is a problem with the 8052. I checked the signals from P1 and all data lines. They seem fine. I am able to write and read from my eeprom just fine if I hook it up like a ram device and use the XBY command also. Like I said before it seems to be a timing problem. I wrote to Micromint (company that made my chip) and they suggested using an eprom instead. One thing I am trying is writing an assembly program to put into code space inorder to CALL. The program is hoped to transfer the ram based BASIC program to the eeprom. I will keep you posted also. TTYL, Dave Kaleta |
