Ziegler Nichols step response method:
1. Give a unit input to the system in open loop mode. 2. Wait for enough to detect highest slope in the response. 3. Let the tangent of the highest slope intersect the time axis at L and response axis at -a. (a little bit calculation) 4. K=1.2/a , Ti=L/2 , Td=2L for pid control. |
