If you want reliable communication you should try to choose the crystal frequency that will give you less than +/- 1 % deviation from the actual baud you desire. So as Raghu has stated , you should use 11.059 mhz(or multiples eg 22.118mhz).. both 11.059 mhz and 22.118mhz are readily available.. You can see that your crystal deviates by more than 5%...so it no wonder your getting garbage... You can decide which is best for you by visiting.... http://www.keil.com/c51/baudrate.asp |
