There are two reasons for having different include files for each type of processor:- 1) So you can use the SFR's correctly. 2) So the compiler knows where the SFR's live, otherwise it might accidentally use an rea of RAM which is used by an SFR, this can have undesireable results. Change the code to use a particular include file, and hopefully it will fix the program. Here is a template file I use for SDCC with an AT89C52 chip. I've never had a problem with it, it's set-up for an RTc at 12MHz, you'll need to change the values at the top of the file if you use that. I build it without any problems using SCCC <filename> Also, I always use packihx, and utility which came with SDCC, it packs the hex file into set lengths. Some programmers don't like 'bitty' programs, packihx neatens them up a bit for the programmer. Hope this helps! Chris. |
