i was going through the direcoty structure of the SDCC and just found the at89c55.h file there... but thanks for the valuable information about how to port the .h to any other microcontroller. i think this problem is solved on my end.


okey now the second problem... yes i am using cap and resister on the reset pin... i will try the new cap and resister values u gave to me..


but i can not understand why the program written in another C compiler is working absolutely fine and C program in SDCC is not working.... i mean out of 30/40 tries once it works.

i will really appriciate if you can put some light on this before Eric comes in (sorry Eric just a jock LOL)
