firstly thankyou for taking out time for my question , next i am working on assembly only so i will be thankful if the replies are also in this language...

I know its really difficult for some one who is a expert also to explain how the multi-tasking can occur...but if some one can just give me one example, then i can continue from there...

Like Suppose:-

Iam want to set my controller to check P2.0 , P2.1, P2.2, P2.3 after let say 1 micro-second...

and if P2.0 is SET, controller starts to perform certain task for some time period but still keeps on checking the other bits .. if all four are set then it do the desired task for each bit...

here i only want to know how to make controller monitor these bits even if any bit is SET , controller should be able to monitor other bits..

using 11.05 KOH Crystal.

Let Suppose iam using timer 0 in auto-reload mode for this monitoring and the timer over flows after 1 micro-second and still keeps on going , if any bit is set in between another interrupt is timer interrupt is called out for sent data for sents time etc... but timer 0 will keep on monitoring the other bits....

i just need a example for this monitoring stuff... really i have worked on and tried with my hardware but ....no use at all.
