I really appreciate your effort in developing these projects and sharing them. I learn a great deal by studying working examples such as this one. I look forward to the CF FAT project!

As for coding them in C, I think it would be an appropriate langauge for these functions - a project that needs to paint graphics and manipulate fonts or use a FAT probably has other high-level functions that would make C an appropriate choice.
