You really better start off by doing some reading. Trying to do this project without having read and understanding the following document The 8051 Bible is next to rediculous. You may choose to read just the first three chapters. Here are separate documents for each chapter The 8051 Bible Chapter 1, The 8051 Bible Chapter 2, and The 8051 Bible Chapter 3.
