Hallo Alisha,
if you surely know, that your battery is really discharged there is no danger. Only when battery becomes almost fully charged, what you can detect by looking at battery voltage, then voltage regulating is really necessary. Current regulating switches to voltage regulating very sharply. Means, charging with somewhat limited charging current is immediately stopped when reaching 14V. Of course, you can detect this 'moment' with a comparator. Bye, Kai |
