Yes, it's always a good idea to verify the interrupt.... It only takes one instruction, 2 bytes... I always do this, especially when programming PIC chips. Regarding the 0x20, well sometimes people just guess at the codes... he did say " 'x ' (note the space) ". I didn't take it for granted that he knew what ascii code it was. Peter, I used to work on a support hotline... I've gotten used to reading between the lines... and trying to figure out what people really mean. You might (or not?) be amazed at some of the silly things people think. J. |
