I need to build a program that convert a number to and from IEEE floating point
format .

A decimal number (positive or negative) is to be typed in and displayed on the
alphanumaric display. It is then to be converted into IEEE floating point format
and the floating point number displayed in HEX form on the second line of the
display.

A floating-point number typed in should also be displayed as a decimal number.

The LCD display is on p2 and I have the keypad program.

so could u advise me how to bulid this program by assembly program :- I'm using

8051
as51 program

I have done clock program which is displayed in the LCD display and please have
a look in it
