The problem as doubted was with the timing of the /WR and EN signals. They arriving almost at the same time was creating the problem. SOlved by permanently pulling the /WR line low as I had no instruction to put the LCD in read back mode - like checking for the Busy signal.
The jumbo LCD is wirking fine after that. Raghu |
