The best way to do it is to get one of the dedicated GPIB interface chips like http://sine.ni.com/apps/we/n...S&cid=1268 It might be possible to bit bang your own GPIB interface, but I would not dream of doing it that way. The bus is a nightmare for the unwary - it was nearly 10% of my final year degree course, lo those many years ago, and it still brings me out in a cold sweat when I have to use it.... Steve |
