#46418 - Start Bit overhead in RS-232 transmissio |
Hello,
According to several documents about serial line that I have read, If I configure the UART with 1 stop bit and 8 data bits, would this produce an overhead of 2 bits? 1 start bit (it seems that is always sent) 8 data bits 1 stop bit 2 bits overhead for each byte. Is that right? Thank you, Xavier |
