#46537 - RE: ASSEMBLY OR \\\\
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Dear Yogesh,

"I know little about "C" and can learn it fast where as Assembly is hard to learn for me. "

Nothing to laugh there.

In your case I would recommend starting with assembly -even if you find it is hard. Had you been conversant with "C" to start with, then it would have been enough to just adapt to the nuances of C as applied to a 8-bit processor. In your case first you need to get conversant with C and then kind of migrate towards the 8-bit stuff.

So the best way is to get going with Assembly - you may not believe this : Some twelve years ago when messing around with 8085 I had done hand assembly !! Look up the hex code for an instruction, and enter that code line by line.... the kits just used to have a hex keypad. Used to be fun.

So start with a few lines of code - maybe 10 lines or less. Get the hang of it and a few weeks down the line you could be on your way for much bigger stuff. It is not as difficult as it looks initially.
