It's not clear to me what you mean by "monitoring", "monitoring list" and "Listing oepration."

Consider a status byte where each bit corresponds to a bit in P1. If a bit in P1 goes active, set the status bit. When the bit in P1 goes inactive, reset the status bit. Do what you need to when the status bit is set, using it to remember that you have already processed this bit.
