Iraj has Assembly code for 16 bit Hex to BCD and the reverse. Maybe he is referring to packed BCD. This code to be converted to C.

The problem is, going by his posting, he doesnt seem to be familiar with C - at least as applied to an 8bit processor.

In which case there is a big learning curve in front of him : First learn C . Then learn the tricks to apply it to an 8 Bit processor. A small search in this forum will yield many threads in which recommendations for the required learning stuff.
