The other issue i want to discuss is on Flash Emulators.
Flash emulators are the low cost emulators i have searched till now (i maybe wrong)

i am thinking of buying Flash emulators ,but before i can do that ,i want to clear some of my queries(i dont want the college authorities to blame me afterwards)

As you know i am working on AT89C51 and flash supports familes of ATnel,Intel,Philips and so on.
But i am quite confused in the two different models they are offering
1) Mirco-ICE
2) Easy-ICe

while micro-ice doesnt support real time trace ,easy-ice does so.
Now what is REAL TIME TRACE?
also they have some background debugger which occupies 150 bytes in the code memory.
Wont this interferr in the working of my code?
Is this background debugger present in all ICE?

Is flash MICRO-ICE really a good emulator which will solve the purpose of real time debugging

please guide me in this process and plz tell if there are anyother low price emulators supporting more familes so that the emulator can be used in future
