I have been looking for weeks now on info or tutors on how you get a nice looking animation on those fullcolor leddisplays, and I failed to find ANYHTING on it... now i'm getting really desparate... ;)

I allready created some ledboards, with one-color leds, on which 4 color/intensities are 'forced' by demultiplexing techniques (search the forum for "ledpanel", u'll see what I mean). Now I got that running really nice, but DAMN those collordevices... How on earth do I get to show 256 different colors on 1 led??? Also demuxing??? Some special icparts out there that do the job????

I managed to get my hands on 2 partially broken colorleddisplays, and after looking them through I found that the display turns the individual colors completely ON, or completely OFF. That makes 8 colors possible... Now HOW do these boards boast up to 256 colors???? By rapid blinking??

please help me... anything will do... pretty please...
