In my application...one end of the cable is a balanced signal from the base equipment it is a trasformer coupled sine wave signal that is bipolar (above / below GND). On the other end (the handheld) it is a 0-5 volt transmit square wave from 1K ohn source imedance and a AC coupled receiver that can detect at a threshold of about 250 mV. The AD opamp looks interesting,,,,,wonder if it would work out to 1000 feet. The sample at Figure 6 was 100 feet. Michael Karas |
