Project ideas abound.....

1) Make a device that measures how much dental floss has been dispensed from the floss container to let the user know before they run out that a new container should be purchased.

2) Make a device that uses a sound pickup and measures the length of time your alarm clock rings each morning. You can then upload this information to a PC and analyze how long on average it takes to wake you up.

3) Put a switch on your refrigerator door and count the number of times the door is opened and compute real time statistics for openings/day, openings/meal, openings per occupant in the dwelling.

There you go. Crazy or weird,,,,but unique.
