#48619 - RE: 8052/8051 compiler
Responding to: ???'s previous message
I'm using a Dallas chip right now as my first chip (DS89C420) because it supports ISP (has a loader in ROM). Or am I missing something?

The important feature for 'beginning' is ISP (in system programming).
Cygnal has it as does most new Philips and Atmel derivatives. I know that Dallas is behind on this one and someone need to state if the ADuC is ISP.
