I meant to use timer1 as a counter in 8 bit autoreload mode. But actually count the clock coming in at t1 and have that drive the baudrate. Seems like all the simulator I see assumes you are using crystal / 12 to drive baudrate ( well namely keil )
What is the bible??? The 'bible' is where you find all the answers to these questions (in this case in chapter 3). The 'bible' can be downloaded free, the address is in links <---- (look to the left). If you do not have a VERY fast internet connection, do not use the link for the entire book, all you need is chapters 1, 2 and 3 and there is separate links for those. Erik |
