#49452 - 89LPC932 UCFG bytes |
Once again in Dallas working with the 89LPC932. :)
I'm trying to set the UCFG1 and UCFG2 bytes in code so that the user doesn't have to remember to manually configure them each time they program the part. However, using the PDS51 software with the LPCxxx emulator I'm having problems. Whenever I try to set UCFG1 by setting it in code I get a "code memory out of range" error. Now, the datasheet and user manual don't seem to specify the correct address for UCFG1. They read "xxxxh" like they were going to add the address to the datasheet later but never did. The 87LPC76x seem to have their UCFG1 at FD00h while the PDS51 help file seems to suggest that UCFG1 is at FF00h for the 89LPC932. I've tried both FD00h and FF00h and PDS51 complains about both and my UCFG settings don't seem to be reflected in PDS51. I've sent my problem both to the PDS51 folks as well as to Philips. However, PDS51 seem to be in New Zealand and I'm not sure how soon I'll get a response from Philips so I was wondering if anyone out there has had similar problems? Can anyone tell me definitively the right address for the UCFG bytes? Thanks, Craig Steiner |
