#49702 - RE: 74HC244 or RS422/RS485 drivers Responding to: ???'s previous message |
The pins to control are CLOCK, STROBE and DATA....
My query is whether the proposed design will work with 74HC244 drivers and no receiver on remote display or i have to use a RS422/RS485 drivers and receivers In this case I would evaluate if using RS485 standard serial transmission would be the right way to go or using 3 RS485 drivers and 3 receivers to make the 3 signals differential for the transmission would be better. RS485 drivers and receievers come in quads which is ideal for such a case. Erik |
