#49824 - BAS52 on Futurlec AT32 Plus V2 Board
I have a Futurlec CP-AT32 Plus V2 development board. This board contains a Philips P89C51RD2 processor, with 64k of program memory. 32k of RAM is located on the board, mapped to addresses through 0x7fff. Three 8255 ports are mapped starting at 0x8000. I have successfully loaded and ran simple programs written in BASCOM-8051 using this board.

I downloaded BAS52 from this site, loaded and verified it. When I power up and hit the space bar, I get the BAS52 prompt, but then it acts weird. Direct statements, such as math functions, work. But if I type in program lines, they do not take. Also, sometimes when I set variables they get set to values other than what I entered.

I realize that I will not be able to run assembly language programs from BAS52, since the RAM on this board is not mapped into external code space. But shouldn't I be able to run BASIC programs? I have tried reloading several times, using different versions of BAS52, and even downloaded BAS52 from another site. I always get the same results. Any ideas what I might be doing wrong?

Attached is a sample session below.

Thanks,
Frank Kienast
