#49845 - P89C52RD2 at 24MHz ,x6 speed |
Hello,
While working with a project with an AT89C52 chip at 24 MHz, I replaced the the Atmel chip with a Philips P89C51RD2 at x6 clock speed, the Philips chip seems to be working without any problem and it also feels cool, I mean it is not getting hot. Is it safe to work with this configuration (P89C51RD2 with 24MHz at x6) for production pieces of the product? Philips has specified a maximum of 20Mhz at x6 speed for the P89C51RD2, or am I overlooking something. Information on this will be highly appriciated. Regards, John. |
