You have a VERY good point. I have already included the STARTUP.A51 code in the project. I am also including the INIT.A51 and the L51_BANK.A51 modules. Your point about the use of a memory location is rather straight forward for me now that I consider it. It is even more applicable becasue of the fact that the loader is being coded as an actual part of the same application!! I am in the midst of programming a nicely robust in-application-programming support for a project that wants re-programmability on a Serial Bus. This project uses a Cygnal part with 128K bytes of FLASH but I want the concept to work for any sized FLASH so that it is "portable" to future projects.
