First Things First - Who are you ? Rashu or Harnam ?!!
I think there has been toooo much of cutting and pasting going on. Anyway did you try to click on that link that Andy had given ? Its by far the best tutorial on a State Machine. Being an opening menu waiting for user input, it is simple to display the Main menu and poll the user response to enter the Second level menu. Once there, you again poll for the user input and finally when you are done with the user ( or he is done with your menu )branch into the required code saving his inputs. I am not sure what is the complication in it. (And it is always good programming practice to have a time-out mechanism for loops that wait for user inputs.) Raghu |
