If you have Windows 98 or later (poss 95?) I think you can do this with the Direct Cable Connection.
If not, you'd need PPP or SLIP on the serial link, and some sort of special driver for the parallel port. But, Given that cheap ethernet cards only cost a couple of quid, and would give you a proper network link and better performance, why bother? |
